Jettie is the world's first seasonal probiotic + prebiotic for infants, toddlers, and kids. It is a flavorless powder with no added sugar that blends well into your child’s beverage of choice: milk, water, smoothie or 100% fruit juice. Go ahead, sneak it in anywhere!
Jettie probiotics are completely safe for babies, toddlers and kids. In fact, probiotics play an essential role in creating a diverse, balanced microbiome that supports improved immune function, neurological development, digestion and nutrient absorption.
Sick of monitoring your little one’s diaper and bathroom habits like it’s your job? The strains in Jettie are clinically proven to support digestion and limit constipation and diarrhea.
Probiotics are the helpful bacteria that make up your microbiome. Babies (infants & toddlers) are susceptible to distress because they’re born with a sterile GI system, so probiotics have been shown to protect from infections and may help build their immune system. For kids, probiotics decrease gut bacteria that can cause infection. Probiotics can also relieve constipation, colic, acid reflux, and diarrhea. They’ve been known to prevent eczema and allergies.
Yes, yes and well… it depends. Jettie Baby Fall/Winter contains Human Milk Oligosaccharides (HMO) which are found naturally in breast milk and encourage the growth of good bacteria in the gut. The HMO in Jettie Baby Fall/Winter is fermented from cow’s milk. If your child has a severe reaction to dairy, we’d recommend Jettie Baby Spring/Summer which does not contain HMO and is available year round.
When your child starts Jettie, you’re introducing a whole host of beneficial microbes that should quickly begin to multiply in their digestive tract. These friendly flora work hard to crowd out the types of bacteria and yeast you don’t want in their body. That’s great news—however, while they are taking hold and colonizing the digestive system, your child might experience a little gas and changes in the frequency and texture of their bowel movements. This is totally normal as the body adjusts to these changes.
For children over the age of 6 months, we recommend upping your child's fluid intake during this time. Your child’s stomach will adapt and you’ll see (hear? smell?) less gas and things will settle. You might see more frequent or less frequent bowel movements (depending on their schedule) as the body is adjusting to the new gut health. Better absorption of nutrients means their bowel movements become more efficient or better quality.
Jettie makes it super easy to give your child probiotics. You'll mix one stick pack of Jettie in with your infant's bottle or child's beverage of choice just ONCE a day.
